Pam Houston

Pamela Houston is principal of Houston Studios located in the Pendleton Art Center in Cincinnati. She specializes in the creative development of graphic and digital design for a variety of both business-to-business and business-to-consumer clients. Her 28-year career experience includes co-founding DeanHouston, Inc., a 22-year old Cincinnati-based B-to-B advertising agency; director of art services at a Charleston-based advertising and public relations firm; lead designer at a New Albany-based printing company; and graphic designer at a Louisville-based magazine publishing company. Ms. Houston was trained as a graphic designer at Sarasota’s Ringling School of Art and Design.

One of her guiding principles is to design, first and foremost, to accentuate the differentiating aspects of the product or service being marketed…never sacrificing clarity of message for cleverness of creative. That principle is integral to her design culture.
